Yes ! CVRCE Diary is recruiting new members (Khabris and Guptchars)...!

Every noble deed needs the help of the GenPop. So does every evil deed. Starting frm social workers to terrorists everyone needs help from the Mango People (Aam Junta) to complete their so called ‘Objectives’ ! Okay so now whether you classify us as ‘Social Workers’ or ‘Terrorists’ this is an open invitation to anybody who wants to be a part of ‘CVRCE Diary’ as a Khabri or a Guptchar. Ok let us elaborate the roles of Khabris and Guptchars before continuing..

Khabri -

The role of a Khabri is to write down articles, news reports, essays, poems or anything of that sort which goes with the theme and the spirit of CVRCE Diary. A Khabri should have a flair for writing and should be proficient in at least one language among English,Hindi,Oriya.The various posts of Khabris are as follows…

• Senior Khabri – They will be given administrator privileges in the blog. Currently there are three permanent Senior Khabris (Touter Tom, Dahara Dick and Hatasia Harry).
• Associate Khabri – They will be granted moderator privileges. They can post articles directly in the blog.
• Junior Khabris – They wont be given moderator privileges , but they can post articles in the blog.
• Freelance Khabris – Anyone who wants to post articles in CVRCE Diary but doesn’t want to be a team member can mail us their articles directly to cvrcediary@gmail.com.

Guptchar -

The role of a Guptchar is to work as as an undercover agent or a freelance reporter and report the daily happenings at CVRCE to cvrcediary@gmail.com or at the Orkut Profile of CVRCE Diary. The following posts are available for Guptchars..

• Guptchar-in-Chief – The Head Guptchar. This core member will spearhead all Guptchar activities in and around CVRCE and will have special privileges during college fests, annual functions, etc. Currently the Guptchar-in-Chief is Ladkibaaz Larry.
• Senior Guptchar – Every branch would have at least one Senior Guptchar who can report in the inside stories of his/her branch.
• Junior Guptchar – Anyone can be a Junior Guptchar regardless of their branch and year.
• Freelance Guptchar – Anyone who wants to report certain activities but doesn’t want to a part of the CVRCE Diary Team can mail us their views and reports directly at cvrcediary@gmail.com.

Anybody who wishes to be a part of the team can mail us at cvrcediary@gmail.com or you can even leave your comments at the comment section of the blog post. Every selected Khabri and Guptchar will be alloted an unique secrety codename/identity and in due couse they might be given moderator/administartor privileges.

Frustration Meets Frustration

Semesters nearing. Seniors possessed with their studies. Their frustration with the system is quite evident. This is what puzzles me. Is this the fate even i am going to meet in the near future? Day in-Day out. Engrossed with studies. Sleeping with books and waking with books. Even having nightmares about them !

We all know that this endeavor of ours is going to lead us to nowhere, But trying to make something out of nothing. Seeing their frustration brings out the frustration in me ! Did we join engineering for this ? Answer is for all you to ponder about.

So why this blog ? This is the let-out of our frustration. This is a reflection of what all happens in a reputed institution ( Which claims to give quality education for future engineers ! ) This poem explains the dilemma we all are going through…

Forced
To lose one important thing after another

Unless another important decision is made.

To give up on a life which was secure

To transform to one new and unfamiliar.

To become more "sophisticated" in accepting views

That were not easily accepted before.

To lose, to change, to lie

For someone expecting too much from another.

Here goes a brief description about the founding members of CVRCE Diary…

Touter Tom – Senior Khabri

The most gentle and geekiest Senior Khabri amongst the three founding members. Has a considerably higher CPGA than the other two losers. He as a rather irritating quality of bossing over Dahara Dick and Hatasia Harry owing to his intellectual superiority. Touter Tom will be catering to the interests and tastes of the various nerd and geek readers of this blog.

Dahara Dick – Senior Khabri

The most evil Khabri of them all ! The dark king of sarcasm is here to make life hell for his victims in CVRCE. He cant stand other people laughing and enjoying. His posts will have sarcasm ,irony and evil-ism smeared all over them. Dahara Dick will be catering to the interests of similar evil-minded readers from CVRCE.

Hatasia Harry – Senior Khabri

The most frustrated Khabri of them all. He has been a loser all his life. His life at CVRCE is no exceptions. Low CGPA, Low Attendance, Low Self Esteem, you name it. he has them all. He will be venting out his frustration over the system here in CVRCE Diary. Hatasia Harry will be catering to the tastes of similar losers from CVRCE.

Secret Agent Sally – Senior Guptchar (LH Wing)

This first lady in the team! She will provide useful info from the LH!

Ladkibaaz Larry – Associate Khabri / Senior Guptchar

The newest addition to the CVRCE Diary. Ladkibaaz Larry is a hopeless Flirt. He will be acting as an undercover agent/reporter for CVRCE Diary from now on.

Kalakaar Kerry – Associate Khabri/ Chitrakaar-in-Chief

This good for nothing guy ed the blog's layout, logos, etc. He will be penning down a few articles for us in the coming days.

The Diary Says Hi…!

Yippee…! Here comes the first ever post of ‘CVRCE Diary’ !

So..What is ‘CVRCE Diary’ all about? Well to be honest it is actually a rubbish idea that cropped up in three good for nothing Final year guys from the rotten excuse of an Engineering College that we better know as CV Raman College of Engineering. So, who are ‘we’?

We are just a couple of Normal engineering students, with Normal friends, leading a Normal life, with Normal aspirations. But there are a few things Abnormal within us. Our abnormal Amount of frustration with the system, Our Abnormal amount of distaste towards the men in the A/C chambers and finally our Abnormal amount of Love for the college life !

Don’t get us wrong in here. We are not here to change the world or bring a difference. We just want to vent our thoughts, our views on the everyday events that happen around here. This isn’t a journal, nor a magazine. You can say it’s an insight to the brains of a couple of guys stuck in CVRCE !

Some questions that may arise in due time…

Q. Why are we not mentioning our true identities?

A. Simple. Because it is already obvious who we are! And we have this feeling that we will be landing in truckloads of controversies in due course of time! So for the time being know us as ‘Touter Tom’, 'Dahara Dick' and ‘Hatasia Harry’ !

Q. What are we gonna write about?
A. Well..A bit of this and a bit of that. Mostly we will be writing things about our college days with a tinge of humor and sarcasm. And also expect us to take digs on our batch mates!

Q. Are we gonna open a lot of cans?

A. Well, yes…(At least sort of!). But keeping in mind not to land ourselves in any trouble we are going to use some very obvious nicknames of our victims in the posts! Its up to you to figure out who’s who!

Q. Why this blog?
A. Four years is a longs time guys. And it undoubtedly is the best time of our lives. Ain’t it? So we are writing down these stuff so that somewhere down the line in the years to come we can look back on this blog and relive the nostalgia of our CVRCE Days !
